Beginner Course FAQ’s

 

Do I need to bring anything?

 

No, we have all the equipment at the studio.

 

What do I wear?

 

Wear comfortable clothing that you can freely move in. We are fond of yoga bloomers.

 

How many classes can I come to?

 

This depends on whether you have enrolled in the Beginner’s One or Beginner’s Two course. Beginner 1 students attend 1 class per week and Beginner’s Two attend 2 classes per week

 

I have an existing injury. Can I still come?

 

The Beginner,s Course follows a set syllabus and there is not the opportunity to teach specifically to individuals with chronic illnesses or injuries. Students that have long term health conditions should contact the school prior to enrolling in the Beginner’s Course.

 

I am pregnant. Is this course suitable for me?

 

The Beginner’s Course is not suitable for students who are pregnant. We do not offer Pre-natal classes at the Yoga Room.

 

How do I book?

 

You can book on this site, click here, call or email the Yoga Room. Classes do fill up and space is limited so bookings are essential.

 

After the Course is over?

 

Once you have completed the Course you may be ready to progress to our General Classes. Many students do however find repeating the Course once (or maybe more times) is beneficial as they become more comfortable and able in the foundation poses.
